Warrior 24

Chasing the spirit of Next Warrior

ABOUT WARRIOR24

The Next Warrior Could Already Be Out There. Warrior24 exists to identify promising rugby talent, understand the player behind the performance, develop character and create pathways that can help young players progress in rugby and in life. Approach includes talent identification, player analysis, character development, mentorship, career planning, and education and life preparation. No Warrior Overlooked.

Why Warrior24 Exists: created to bring together development, guidance, education, character, mentorship, career planning, and the right opportunities.

Vision: Beyond Agents. Beyond Scouting. Warrior24 builds Warriors for Life, not just players.

Mission: Identify talented young players, understand their potential, develop their abilities and help create appropriate pathways towards higher levels of rugby, while preparing them for life beyond rugby.

THE WARRIOR24 MODEL

Identify. Analyse. Develop. Guide.

Key areas: Talent IdentityX (structured player profile), Career ManagerX (pathway planning and career support), Career Life MentorX (guidance beyond the field).

The Warrior24 Journey: Identify → Analyse → Develop → Guide → Transform.

Talent IdentityX (Assessment & Profile)

This foundation establishes a complete Warrior Profile by combining data, video analysis, technical skill evaluations, and character profiling. Rather than assessing players purely on basic match statistics or outcomes, it evaluates two distinct layers for every position:

  • Core Requirements: Fundamental position-specific technical skills, work rate, and decision-making.

  • Differentiating Attributes: Additional skills (e.g., leadership, distribution, tactical kicking) that set a player apart.

  • Off-Field Identity: Essential soft skills including discipline, humility, courage, resilience, and a team-first mentality.

Positional Evaluation Framework

  • Forwards: Evaluated on foundational set-piece execution (scrummaging, lineout jumping/throwing) and defensive physicality (tackling, breakdown speed), differentiated by ball-carrying, mobility, maul driving, and leadership.

  • Backs: Evaluated on core playmaking, execution, and space control (passing, speed, game management, aerial catching), differentiated by vision, kicking range, defensive reads, and counter-attacking prowess.

Career ManagerX (Strategic Pathway)

Once a player’s identity is established, this pillar builds a sustainable, long-term rugby career. It prioritizes the player’s long-term future over short-term contracts through strategic positioning, market exposure, contract strategy, and clear progression paths across provincial, franchise, national, and international levels.

Career LifeMentorX (Holistic Support)

Recognizing that rugby is only a temporary phase of life, this pillar provides a protective framework to prepare players for independence and long-term success through:

  • Personal Growth: Faith and values-based mentorship, mental conditioning, resilience, and life skills.

  • Future Preparation: Educational guidance, financial literacy, dual-career planning, and post-rugby transition management.

TALENT RADAR

Talent Radar: Wide-Net Scouting

Designed to eliminate “blind spots” in talent identification, the radar looks beyond mainstream televised schoolboy competitions. It evaluates emerging talent across:

  • School & Youth: Schools, regional competitions, provincial structures, Craven Week, and Academy Week.

  • Grassroots & Senior: Clubs, Varsity Cup/Shield rugby, development programs, and alternative rugby environments.

The Player Pipeline (U13 to Life)

Warrior24 tracks player evolution across a structured multi-stage continuum:

  • U13 (Foundation): Basic skill sets, character building, and early identification.

  • U14–U15 (Development): Physical growth, technical skills, and tactical game understanding.

  • U16 (Performance): Increased exposure and representative team selection.

  • U18 (Elite Development): Top-tier schoolboy rugby and elite pathway preparation.

  • U19–U23 (Transition): University, club, and senior development integration.

  • Professional & Beyond: Franchise and international contracts, extending into post-sport career development, financial stability, and life skills.

Support Services for Players & Parents

The program delivers personalized guidance tailored to each player’s specific journey rather than a one-size-fits-all approach:

  • On-Field Growth: Player profiling, video/game analysis, technical skills refine, and positioning strategy.

  • Off-Field Guidance: Mentorship, academic support, character building (resilience, leadership, humility), career planning, and contract protection.
